Rangers loanee Andreas Skov Olsen was criticised for his “flat” performance against Hearts.
The Light Blues played at Tynecastle, where a win was crucial for their title hopes.
Dujon Sterling‘s goal gave Rangers the lead at half-time, and the visitors dominated possession.
However, BBC Sportsound pundit and former Hearts player Ryan Stevenson was not impressed with Skov Olsen’s efforts.
Commentator Liam McLeod initially described the winger as “quite flat.”
Stevenson agreed, saying: “You’d just expect so much more from him, I’d expect him to want to dictate the game and asking for the ball. I don’t even see him down there speaking.”
He added: “You would expect any time James Tavernier gets the ball for him to maybe make two movements.
“Go long to get it or come short, just do something but he genuinely looks as if he’s at home with his feet up.
“I just expect better.”
The Danish playmaker, who arrived on loan in January, has struggled to make a significant impact at Rangers.
He’s managed only 11 appearances in all competitions since his arrival at the start of the year.
Skov Olsen has scored just one goal but has provided three assists for his team.
Rangers will be hoping for more from the player in the remainder of the season as they strive to keep their title ambitions alive.
