Rangers star earns praises from Rohl, Tavernier and Hutton

The Tottenham loanee was one of the scorers along with Tochi Chukwuani, Nicolas Raskin, and James Tavernier.

This win puts Rangers three points behind Hearts and temporarily ahead of Celtic.

Moore was relentless against the Aberdeen defence, often leaving them chasing shadows and keeping the momentum in his team’s favour.

His impressive performance did not go unnoticed, receiving praise from both his captain and manager.

James Tavernier said: “We had a difficult start to the season and Mikey responded well.

“He kept his head down and continued working hard.

“You can see his performances on the pitch; it is credit to him.

“Players can go under or go missing after the start we had, but he has taken everything on his shoulders and is pushing himself as a player.”

Rangers manager Danny Rohl also acknowledged the youngster’s influence on the team.

He said: “Mikey is a key player for us.

“He has improved a lot, but there are still things to work on.

“We have players behind him waiting for chances and opportunities.

“We need everyone. Ross is a part of it, but without all the other players, he cannot perform like this.”

Moore has been a vital player for Rangers for several months now.

His consistent sterling performances on the field have been beneficial for the team.

Former Ibrox defender Alan Hutton, on punditry duty, hailed Moore as deserving of all the recognition coming his way.

He further highlighted how difficult it is to defend against a player like Moore.

Hutton said: “It was well deserved. After a difficult start to the season, he has come into his own.

“We are seeing the real Miley Moore. He glides with the ball.

“For a defender, it is difficult when he is running at pace.

“He wants to come into the pitch on his stronger right foot, but it is very difficult to stop when the ball is glued to his foot.

“You are taking a chance as a defender if you try to lunge in at him.

“He has been brilliant, growing as the weeks go by, and has been an excellent player for Rangers.”

The recurrent praise for Moore from both his teammates and pundits is testament to his tenacity on the pitch.

He constantly poses a threat to the opposition defence, managing to breach their lines time and again.

He was a helpful force during the game against Aberdeen, putting his team on the winning path.

The young loanee’s performances have steadily improved and he has been displaying commendable consistency.

His contribution is crucial as Rangers try to compete with Hearts and Celtic in the rankings.

Despite being at the centre of attention, Moore still has room for growth, as rightly pointed out by his manager, Rohl.

The undisputed hope is that he continues this form and keeps the momentum strong for the remainder of the season.

Regardless, his contribution to the team has been irreplaceable and he is undeniably one of the star performers for Rangers.
