Paul Scholes raises major concern of Leeds United’s officiating this season as fans reacts

“Look, I’ve watched Leeds this season and I’ve got to say it – something doesn’t feel right with the officiating. Today against Crystal Palace was another prime example. Gudmundsson gets sent off right before half-time, and fair enough if it’s a proper second yellow, but the ref had already forgotten he’d booked him earlier in the game.

That’s basic stuff, isn’t it? And in the same match, Johnson commits two absolute bookable fouls – one worse than the other – and nothing. Not even a second glance. If that was the other way round, it’s a red card and we’re talking about it for weeks.

Leeds have had this all season. Decisions go against them week in, week out. It’s starting to look like more than just bad luck or human error. It feels orchestrated at times, like there’s an agenda to make sure they don’t stay up, to force them out of the Premier League one way or another.

I’ve seen it before in other leagues – teams get squeezed by the officials until the pressure breaks them. Fans are rightly furious, and they’re not wrong to feel targeted.I’m not saying it’s a full-blown conspiracy, but when you see the same patterns game after game – soft reds for Leeds, clear misses for the opposition – you have to ask questions.

The PGMOL and referees need to explain themselves properly, because this isn’t just costing points; it’s costing the integrity of the competition. Leeds are fighting for their lives, and they deserve decisions to be fair, not feel like the deck is stacked against them.”
