Brighton 3-0 Chelsea: Fabian Hurzeler reflects on a commanding win, insisting his side can sustain their impressive form.

Fabian Hurzeler reflected on a 3-0 victory for Brighton against Chelsea.
The Seagulls sat on the coattails of their opponents before kick-off, and they knew a victory would displace the men of Liam Rosenior, formerly a player for the club, by virtue of a 50-point tally.
‘Our approach will always stay the same’
From the first whistle, the hosts had the upper hand at the Amex Stadium, stealing the advantage in the 3rd minute through Ferdi Kadioglu. Carlos Baleba pinched a misplaced Robert Sanchez pass to set up Jack Hinshelwood for what should have been a second strike, but the Blues did not wake up.
A slightly better spell at the start of the second half was wiped out when Georginio Rutter released Hinshelwood to hammer home that long-awaited strike, and Danny Welbeck wrapped up the win.
“We played a good game, we defended well, we had a good structure in possession and created a lot of chances. All in all, it was a good performance and now we have to keep going.
“Another great night and another great connection with the fans. Overall, it was a positive night and now it is about staying humble.
“We expected a change. It is not that easy to know what the opponent will do but overall, we showed great leadership on the pitch. For a few minutes we were on the back foot, but we got back on track and got back our identity.
“Our approach will always stay the same. It is about the performance and the group. We want to be known as a club with a clear style of play but also to be known as a club with clear ambitions. We are working hard to fulfil them.
“We are able to manage the games better, play more consistent football.”
“Not always we can win but it is our intention to go out on the pitch and make fans proud. We wanted to bring the fans behind us and build a connection and an atmosphere. You need to bring this intensity on the pitch for the crowd.
“[Moving into the top six] is not that important for us. It is keep focusing on the performance and keep focusing on what we can do right. We have high expectations on ourselves. I always say focus on the process because you will get the results you deserve if you focus on what you can control.”
