Report: Falcons adjust Jake Matthews, A.J. Terrell, Chris Lindstrom contracts to free up cap space

The Atlanta Falcons have reportedly restructured the contracts of key players—left tackle Jake Matthews, right guard Chris Lindstrom, and cornerback A.J. Terrell—to create additional salary cap space for the team.

Jake Matthews: The Falcons converted a portion of Matthews’ base salary into signing bonus, resulting in significant cap savings.

Chris Lindstrom: Similarly, Lindstrom’s contract was restructured by converting part of his base salary, freeing up valuable cap space.

A.J. Terrell: The team also restructured Terrell’s contract, adjusting his base salary to create additional cap flexibility.

These strategic adjustments have collectively provided the Falcons with increased financial flexibility, allowing them to pursue roster improvements and strengthen their competitiveness for the upcoming season.
