Cricket West Indies Announces Exciting 2025 Schedule for Senior Men’s and Women’s Teams
Cricket West Indies (CWI) has unveiled an exciting schedule for the senior Men’s and Women’s teams for 2025, featuring a blend of home and away fixtures. The Men’s team will commence their campaign with limited-overs tours in the United Kingdom and Ireland, starting with a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against Ireland from May 21 to 25 in Malahide, Dublin. This will be followed by three ODIs against England from May 29 to June 3. The tour will also include T20 matches against both England and Ireland.
In June a
nd July, the Men’s team will host Australia for a series of three Test matches and five T20 games. The Test matches are scheduled as follows:
– **First Test**: June 25-29 at Kensington Oval, Barbados
– **Second Test**: July 3-7 at Grenada National Stadium
– **Third Test**: July 12-16 at Sabina Park, Jamaica
The T20 matches will take place in Jamaica and St Kitts.
Following the series against Australia, the Men’s team will face Pakistan in Florida, USA, with three T20 matches on July 31, August 2, and August 3, followed by three ODIs at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad on August 8, 10, and 12.
The Women’s team will begin their 2025 schedule with a tour to England, starting with T20 matches against England from May 21 to 26, followed by ODIs from May 30 to June 8. They will then host South Africa for a series of ODIs and T20 matches in Barbados from June 11
Additionally, the Women’s team will participate in the ICC Women’s 50 Over World Cup Qualifiers from April 4 to 18, competing against Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, and Thailand.
This comprehensive schedule promises an action-packed year for West Indies cricket fans, with numerous opportunities to support both the Men’s and Women’s teams across various formats and locations.
