Newcastle United<\/a> have made concrete advances in their pursuit of CA Osasuna\u2019s V\u00edctor Mu\u00f1oz, and are ahead despite interest from Manchester United and others.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Premier League side identified the winger as the top target to replace Anthony Gordon, who completed a move to Barcelona in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three days ago, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain<\/a> that Newcastle United are offering the best deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the weekend, we relayed news<\/a> the Magpies should soon find an agreement for the Spain international\u2019s transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s pending for Newcastle United agreement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

That hasn\u2019t happened yet and Diario de Navarra<\/a>, a newspaper local to the La Liga side, cover the latest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

V\u00edctor Mu\u00f1oz has a \u20ac40m release clause while Eddie Howe\u2019s side are offering just over \u20ac30m plus bonuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s \u2018one final push\u2019 away from making a switch to St. James\u2019 Park and \u2018all signs point to a departure in the next few hours\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA Osasuna are waiting for a written offer from Newcastle United and that hadn\u2019t arrive by Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los Blancos can bring him back to the club next summer, without the newspaper mentioning the figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
