The Light Blues stumbled in their bid for Premiership glory after a late winner for the Steelmen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Defiant Danny Rohl<\/a> is adamant Rangers\u2019 title bid ISN\u2019T over – despite their damaging defeat to Motherwell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ibrox side slipped to third place in the Premiership<\/a> after a shock 3-2 loss to The Steelmen<\/a>. Rohl insists it won\u2019t be a fatal blow in the league flag race but admits they now face a mammoth clash with Hearts at Tynecastle just to keep themselves in the hunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rangers fought back from being 2-0 down to Jens Berthel Askou\u2019s side in Govan to level at 2-2. But while they searched for a winner, Emmanuel Longelo struck late on for the visitors to silence the home crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result put a huge dent in Gers\u2019 title chances but Rohl remained upbeat and warned their rivals it\u2019s not done yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019re four points behind leaders Hearts and a point off Celtic<\/a> – before playing both of them away in their next two games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the German said: \u201cI\u2019m disappointed, there\u2019s no question over that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe could have won this game 4-2 or 5-2 even if the first half wasn\u2019t what we wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe changed something (at half-time) and it had a great impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLook, this is football – that\u2019s why sometimes we love the sport and sometimes we hate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut the most important thing is that it\u2019s not over. It\u2019s really not over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI saw the picture from our fans at Falkirk, the flag saying Keep Believing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is the right time to lift this slogan with emotion. Really, we will keep believing. Otherwise, it\u2019s difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have four more finals, four games to go and it\u2019s our job.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motherwell raced into a two-goal lead at Ibrox through Lukas Fadinger and Longelo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 45 minutes, Rangers were second best but after THREE changes at the break from Rohl, they stepped up a gear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youssef Chermiti and Nico Raskin levelled it up and there were further chances for Thelo Aasgaard and Mikey Moore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it was Askou\u2019s men who secured the points when Longelo\u2019s 90th minute effort deflected off Emmanuel Fernandez to beat Jack Butland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, Rohl felt his side deserved a penalty when Fadinger fouled Djeidi Gassama on the edge of the box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rangers got a free-kick but VAR failed to send ref Kevin Clancy to his monitor for a second look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rohl said: \u201cWe weren\u2019t concentrated on our front-foot defending in the first half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the reason why they sometimes had an overload on the centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were a little bit too slow in the last line to push up and mark them. We had to be more aggressive but it was difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut it\u2019s also part of the story that Motherwell were really effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know how many big chances they had, even in the first half?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd I have to say, the foul on Gassama is for me clearly on the line. His foot is inside (the box) but they didn\u2019t look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMaybe I\u2019m wrong but please look back and you\u2019ll see I\u2019m right with this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut I don\u2019t want to make excuses, we still had enough chances to turn it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
