Leeds United manager Daniel Farke would have been disappointed that his side didn\u2019t take their chances against West Ham in the first half in a game that the Hammers won 3-0.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While West Ham needed a win to give themselves a chance of Premier League survival on the final, it was the visitors who looked the more enterprising side in the first half and created the better opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was the main culprit when he missed a golden chance in the 35th minute, when he should have scored and put Leeds ahead before the break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamie Carragher was not at all impressed to see the Leeds striker miss a great chance, and the former Liverpool defender didn\u2019t mince his words to describe the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Liverpool star hammered Dominic Calvert-Lewin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Carragher insisted that Calvert-Lewin brilliantly combined with Lukas Nmecha to create that chance for Leeds and he was left unimpressed with the finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stressed that too many times this season the Leeds striker seems to find the goalkeeper when he is in such positions and insisted that it was not great goalkeeping but a poor finish from Calvert-Lewin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carragher said on Sky Sports<\/a>: \u201cIt was brilliant from Nmecha and Calvert-Lewin, as we know, he always gets lots of chances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut more often than not, he finds the goalkeeper. It was a huge opportunity for Leeds United to go in front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen Nmecha rolls past the defender and gives it to Calvert-Lewin, you think that is going to be a goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs it a bad miss or is it good goalkeeping? I think it is a really bad finish, even though the keeper does well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou just feel he should score so many more goals; he just always seems to find the goalkeeper.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No surprise Leeds are looking for a striker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Leeds have been linked with several strikers ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window and are being ambitious<\/a> in identifying targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Juventus pair of Lois Openda<\/a> and Jonathan David, and the club are looking at options in the Premier League as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is no surprise that Leeds are in the market for a striker, as while Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been a brilliant signing, his goals have come in bursts rather than in a consistent form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leeds want to help Calvert-Lewin and bring in someone good enough to share the load with the former Everton man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Everton man will be the main man again next season, but Leeds want an alternative and not be too dependent on one man again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
