Rangers are interested in signing Ivor Pandur – three years after Michael Beale initially wanted him at Ibrox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gers are in the market for a new shot stopper this summer after some questionable Jack Butland moments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Englishman hasn’t always covered himself in glory recently and could soon be replaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several options have already been linked with Sunderland’s Anthony Patterson on the shortlist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pandur has also emerged as a target, even after promotion from the Premier League with Hull City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Croatian could soon be on the way to Ibrox, many years after Beale sent scouts to watch him in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a number of goalkeeper options on the market this summer that the Light Blues could move for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things could look slightly different with Derek McInnes coming in as he prepares to work with Jim Gillespie and Stig Inge Bjornebye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Daily Mail reported in May 2023 that Michael Beale wanted a new keeper in Govan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that in mind, scouts were sent to watch Pandur as he featured for Eredivisie outfit Fortuna Sittard against PSV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Croatian had a busy day against the Dutch giants, losing 2-1, and the Ibrox club obviously didn’t make a move happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 26-year-old now finds himself in the Premier League three years, but could still be set for an intriguing move to G51.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Rangers could structure deal to sign Pandur from Hull City<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Hull City earning promotion from the Championship, a deal for their number one is always going to be difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That isn’t to say it will be impossible as the Tigers could be open to a swap deal this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alan Nixon reported to his Patreon on Friday that Pandur is valued at \u00a310million at the MKM Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That would obviously be too much for the Ibrox club, so a swap deal involving Butland could be on the cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the two sides can sort out the valuations of a move, that may appeal to Hull this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That could allow Rangers to get their hands on Pandur and bring in a true target of the Beale era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Ibrox manager inherited the Australian midfielder this time last year. While some of the Jamestown Analytics signings were big parts of the title challenge, so were players already at the club of which Devlin was one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 28-year-old is possibly the best example of McInnes helping turn around the form of some who had previously been underperforming, and would potentially have been in the running for player of the year awards had he not been injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devlin is out of contract and is being linked with a free transfer to Ibrox, but already has options abroad as well as the offer of a new contract at Tynecastle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fuel was added to the fire when McInnes was asked about signing Hearts players and made a point of saying he wasn’t targeting any who were under contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A move for Devlin wouldn’t surprise as he is clearly a huge fan, raving about him in an interview with Open Goal last year after Simon Ferry suggsted he “wasn’t technical” and was good at “dogging about.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

McInnes said: “Aye, he\u2019s technical. He\u2019s very good. Aye, he\u2019s better than that. I say to Cammy all the time, ‘You\u2019re miles better than I thought.’ Aye, Cammy\u2019s been outstanding. Honestly, he\u2019s just got so much to his game.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s not surprised me in the sense that I knew the type he was but he is someone that I think any manager would gravitate to because of just how demanding he is from Monday to Friday. He\u2019s very popular with the players, he gets round about everybody, he doesn’t miss anybody as well if things aren’t being done right. We\u2019ve got a few like that with Halkett and Lawrence (Shankland) and Frankie Kent and Jamie McCart. These boys all kind of bark out these instructions too, definitely, and but Cammy\u2019s been a real driver for us and me in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I think he\u2019s been everything I would have hoped for him. But technically he deals with balls so well.
