Newcastle United fans will have mixed feelings when it comes to Anthony Gordon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sources close to the deal suggest Newcastle view Ueda as the ideal addition to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new Premier League campaign. Thankfully, Gordon was taken to that next level in the Premier League by Howe, with a stacked 39 goals and 28 assists next to his name from 152 total appearances at St James’ Park, by the time he moved to the Camp Nou this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was still prone to a drop-off in performance under Howe, but it’s clear that the 48-year-old had a big impact on the winger’s game, with the brand-new Barca number 19 noting that the one-time AFC Bournemouth boss had “improved me massively” in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
