Great Report : Detroit lions star suspended from All sports because of Gambling……

The Detroit Lions kicked off their season on Sunday night and needed overtime to secure a 26-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams in a game that wrapped up just before midnight.

“Look, it is hard to sleep after any game, especially when you get home at 1:00 or 2:00 or whatever that was,” Campbell said Monday afternoon. “Your mind is racing, thinking about all the different things that went right or wrong, and it is impossible to sleep no matter how tired you are.”

Defensive lineman Alim McNeill mentioned he didn’t fall asleep until 4 a.m., switching between watching game film and episodes of “Reba” on Netflix.

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams head coach Sean McVay on Monday said wide receiver Puka Nacua’s knee injury sustained against the Lions Sunday night was a PCL sprain that will land him on Injured Reserve (IR). As a result, Nacua will miss a minimum of four games.

McVay confirmed the injury is also a re-aggravation of the same knee injury Nacua sustained in last month’s joint practice with the Chargers, “just a little bit more significant than what was previously the situation.”

Additionally, offensive lineman Steve Avila sustained a MCL sprain against the Lions and is a candidate to go on IR as well. McVay said Avila tried to re-enter the game on the first play of the second half and that the Rams medical staff had to pull him.

“It’s a credit how much he wants to be out there,” McVay said. “So I think that’s a positive problem, but it definitely got (Vice President, Sports Medicine and Performance) Reggie Scott worked up, but it shows you how tough Steve is.”

Offensive lineman Joe Noteboom sustained a high ankle sprain against the Lions that will sideline him for a few weeks, per McVay.

The victory came amid a playoff-like atmosphere against former quarterback Matthew Stafford. It was a rematch of last year’s NFC Wild Card matchup in which the Lions won at home only by a single point. Detroit moves up from its preseason ranking of No. 4 to No. 3 in the NFL’s rankings ahead of Week 2. The only other teams ranked above the Lions are the San Francisco 49ers (1-0) and the Kansas City Chiefs (1-0). Notable Lions – such as Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jared Goff – didn’t perform well but it says a lot when your top players don’t play well and the team still finds a way to win regardless. The Lions will next take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) at home in a Week 2 matchup on Sunday at noon. Related: Lions could have big day through the air vs. Tampa Bay in Week 2
