Great Report : Alec bohm just been suspended from All sports because of Gambling…..

Kyle Schwarber (left elbow contusion)
Status: Out of the lineup
Schwarber departed Tuesday’s win over the Tampa Bay Rays after sustaining a left elbow contusion diving back into first base on a back-pick attempt.
The Phillies scratched Schwarber from Wednesday’s lineup after he was initially in it. Schwarber is feeling better, but manager Rob Thomson said “it’s still affecting his swing a little bit.” The expectation from Thomson is that Schwarber will be back in the lineup Friday against the New York Mets. (Last Updated by Tim Kelly on Sept. 11)
J.T. Realmuto (sore left knee)
Status: Out of the lineup
Realmuto fouled a ball off his left knee in the second inning during a game on Sept. 6 in Miami. He remained in the game until being pinch-hit for in the top of the fourth inning. The Phillies announced Realmuto was removed from the game with a left knee bruise.
Thomson said that like Schwarber, Realmuto should be back in the lineup for Friday’s game against the Mets. (Last Updated by Tim Kelly on Sept. 11)
Alec Bohm (left hand strain)
Status: 10-day IL
After six days of keeping him on the active roster with the belief he wouldn’t need an injured list stint, the Phillies placed Bohm on the 10-day IL with a left hand strain Friday. The move is retroactive to Sept. 3, as the maximum you can backdate an IL stint is three days. Infielder Buddy Kennedy has been recalled.
Bohm swung with a regular bat in his hand on Sept. 10 and still felt some discomfort. He will take ground balls, run, throw and hit in the cage with a smaller bat on Sept. 11. “They’ll still try and get the regular bat in his hand today,” Thomson added. (Last Updated by Tim Kelly on Sept. 11)
Austin Hays (kidney infection)
Status: 10-day IL
Hays was placed on the 10-day IL (retroactive to Sept. 2) on Sept. 5 with a kidney infection. Cal Stevenson was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take his spot on the roster.
Hays on Sept. 10 continued his throwing program and did some agility work. Like Bohm and Realmuto, Hays will also take batting practice in the cages.
Even once Hays is feeling back to normal, he’s going to have to build back up towards game shape. Thomson, on Sept. 9, said of Hays, “it’s gonna be a while.” (Updated by Destiny Lugardo on Sept. 10)

Edmundo Sosa (back spasms)
Status: 10-day IL
Edmundo Sosa was placed on the 10-day IL with back spasms prior to the Sunday, Sept. 8 game against the Marlins. The move is retroactive to Sept. 7. Seth Johnson was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take his spot on the roster. Johnson will start Sunday’s series finale against the Marlins.
Sosa is scheduled to run and throw prior to the Sept. 10 game against the Rays. He is not expected to miss much time beyond the minimum 10-day stint. (Last updated by Destiny Lugardo on Sept. 10)
Andrew Painter (Tommy John surgery)
Status: Minor league 60-day injured list; Expected back in 2025
The No. 1 overall prospect in the Phillies’ minor league system underwent Tommy John surgery on July 25, 2023.
Painter threw another live batting practice on Sept. 9 in Clearwater, Fla. He is scheduled to throw another one on Friday, Sept. 12. (Last Updated by Destiny Lugardo on Sept. 10)
Spencer Turnbull (right lat strain)
Status: 60-day injured list
Turnbull last pitched in a game on June 26 at Detroit. He experienced a setback in mid-August, but is now trying to ramp up in an attempt to make a 2024 comeback as a reliever. He is currently rehabbing at the complex in Clearwater, Fla.
Turnbull is scheduled to throw his first live batting practice since going on the injured list on Friday, Sept. 13. He threw an up-and-down bullpen session on Sept. 9.
Is he running out of time? “I don’t think so,” Thomson said. “We’ll keep moving forward.” The next steps include more live batting practice sessions, simulated games and a rehab assignment. (Last updated by Destiny Lugardo on Sept. 10)
Luis Ortiz (Tommy John surgery)
Status: 15-day injured list
Ortiz underwent successful Tommy John surgery on July 11. (Updated by Destiny Lugardo on July 12)

Dahl does not appear to be the answer long term, the larger the sample size the poorer the outcome. Although he is an outfielder which we need. If Clemens or Sosa can prove they can play the outfield then he is expenda
