Breaking News Few minutes ago: Tomas Soucek ‘to retire at London Stadium’ after…

Graham Potter has multiple long-standing servants at his disposal as he begins to rebuild the West Ham squad.

The former Brighton and Chelsea figure has had just a few weeks to work with the current players, having replaced Julen Lopetegui at the helm last month after a torrid time in East London.

Due to the change in managers, only Evan Ferguson was brought in as reinforcement during the winter transfer window, joining on a straight loan from the Amex Stadium.

While there are a few duds in the current squad, many of whom could soon be leaving the London Stadium in future windows, Potter has a lot of talent and loyalty to work with.

One of those players is Tomas Soucek, who joined the Hammers permanently in July 2020 and has since made 219 appearances, even scoring 34 goals in that time.
